SUMMER FULL VENUE HIRE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Daytime use of the Bridal Suite for daytime Bridal preparations and overnight accommodation for up to 4 people in the Bridal Suite and up to 6 people in the Rose Garden Wing.
  • Access to set up in the marquee and in the house the day before the event
  • Exclusive use of the 3 Georgian reception rooms, plus the formal gardens, for civil ceremony, drinks reception and/or small wedding breakfast if relevant.
  • Use of the back lawn for a marquee wedding breakfast and evening reception for up to 200 guests
  • 24 hour use of the 4 acre field for unlimited car parking and overnight guest camping
  • Daytime coordination of suppliers etc by the venue manager and a night duty venue manager

WINTER FULL VENUE HIRE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Daytime use of the Bridal Suite for Bridal preparations from 9am and overnight accommodation for the Bride and Groom

  • Access to set up in the house the day before the event.

  • Exclusive use of the 3 Georgian reception rooms, plus the formal gardens, for civil ceremony, drinks reception and/or small wedding breakfast

  • 24 hour use of the 4 acre field for unlimited car parking and overnight guest camping

  • Daytime coordination by the venue manager and a night duty venue manager

CEREMONY ONLY VENUE HIRE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Daytime use of the Bridal Suite for Bridal preparations from 9am (or earlier by arrangement)

  • Access to set up the house from 9am on the day of the ceremony (or earlier by arrangement)

  • Exclusive use of the 3 Georgian reception rooms for a civil ceremony and a drinks reception.

  • Use of the formal gardens

  • Daytime use of the 4 acre field for unlimited car parking

ON SITE GUEST ACCOMMODATION

THE ROSE GARDEN WING FOR UP TO 6 PEOPLE

Our private guest house accommodation, in a self-contained portion of the original house, can accommodate up to 6 people. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, sitting room, shower room, one twin bedroom, one double bedroom, 2 double sofa beds, a private walled garden and private courtyard.

THE BRIDAL SUITE

This luxury suite in the main house is available for 4 guests in 2 large double Georgian bedrooms with large bathroom with roll top bath and Continental breakfast.

£500 per night for up to 10 guests, 4 nights maximum
or
£250 per night per unit ie Bridal Suite or Rose Garden Wing Or
£100 per night per couple/£50 per person.

ACCESS AND CHECK IN

Check-in to the accommodation and venue is at 9am on the day of the event and at midday on any day preceding the event day.

Check out from the venue and from the over-night accommodation is at midday the day after the event.

For ceremony only bookings, access to set up the house is at 9am on the day of the wedding.

The Marquee (From April to October only)

 

Our luxury ‘canvas pole’ marquee, supplied by LPM Bohemia the Tent Company Ltd is situated at the rear of the house and is set up for 120 seated guests, but can be extended to accommodate more and partitioned internally for smaller numbers of guests.

KCC CIVIL CEREMONY

The Yellow Room is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 60 guests.  The lawns provide space for up to 180 guests for an outdoor ceremony. If you would like to have your civil ceremony with us, this may take place any day between the hours of midday and 9pm.  Kent County Council requires a minimum of 28 days’ notice prior to the ceremony taking place and up to 70 days for non-EU citizens.  KCC fees apply.  Please contact the KCC registrars on : 03000 412234 or email ceremonies.west@kent.gov.ukfor details.

CATERING AND ALCOHOL

We don’t believe in set menus or wine packages and are delighted to offer individually designed catering by our in-house event specialists Lesley and Nicole Parry of the Curious Eateryin Boughton Monchelsea.   

Lesley and Nicole will be delighted to hear your ideas as they assist you in creating a totally bespoke wedding day menu, with wines to compliment and either a cash or paid bar open for as long as you wish throughout the day.

MUSIC AND ALCOHOL LICENCE

Bands are permitted to play in the marquee until 10.30pm, after which a DJ can play or a playlist can be played until 11.30pm.  The noise limit is up to 85/90 decibels.  The bar will close at 11.30pm with last orders at 11.20pm.

CHURCH SERVICE

Should you choose not to hold a civil ceremony with us, there are a number of local churches all within 1 to 4 miles away.  These are located in Horsmonden, Brenchley, Matfield, Lamberhurst and Goudhurst.
