Sprivers Mansion is delighted to be working with Lesley and Nicole Parry of the Curious Eatery in Boughton Monchelsea.

As our newly appointed in-house event caterers, Lesley and Nicole will be delighted to hear your ideas as they assist you in creating a totally bespoke wedding day menu, with wines to compliment and signature cocktails to add a finishing touch. Not a set menu or a wine package in sight!

Canapés

£10 for 4 choices £12 for 5 choices

Meat:

Mini posh dogs, mustard mayo, ketchup, pickled shallots

Pork and herb sausage rolls, homemade piccalilli puree

Aberdeen angus Beef tartare spoons, salsa verde, parmesan crisp

Chicken teriyaki skewers, lime and chilli dipping sauce

Beef Wellington; vol au vent, rare roast beef, mushroom duxelles and horseradish cream, kale chip

Asparagus (when is season) wrapped in prosciutto, garlic aioli served in wheatgrass

Fish:

Blinis, cured mackerel, beetroot mousse, cucumber pickle, caviar

Prawn pil pil skewers in shot glasses, tomato mayonnaise and garlic oil

Salmon and avocado nori rolls, wasabi, soy mayo and caviar (£1 supplement)

Scallops wrapped in pancetta, truffled cauliflower puree and mushroom dust (£1 supplement)

Thai fish balls with chilli, lemongrass and coriander, lime and pea tartare

Smoked salmon mini muffins with horseradish cream cheese and dill

Goats cheese and smoked garlic crème brulee, Friday Street Farm asparagus salad, lovage puree, hazelnut crumble, lemon foam

Roundoak Hebridean lamb bun. Lamb cutlet encased in braised lamb breast, savoy cabbage and crispy polenta pastry

Salsa verde

Jus

Spring vegetables of broccoli, broad beans, peas, courgettes and cherry tomatoes with chervil, citron yoghurt

Roasted assorted new potatoes with rosemary, thyme, garlic and fennel pollen (also known as spice of the angels!

Celebration of strawberries

Raspberry sorbet, strawberry gel, strawberry and chilli jelly, freeze dried strawberry yoghurt, strawberry meringue, strawberry pearls and Great British strawberries

Autumn salad, beetroot, butternut, pickled carrot, whipped feta and toasted cobnuts with a carrot top dressing

Pork and black pudding Wellington
baked stuffed baby apple and a shallot and cider puree

Served with buttery Savoy Cabbage, thyme and rosemary roasted baby potatoes

Baked Alaska
Malva sponge, vanilla ice cream, Italian meringue with a quince puree and a blackberry and elderberry syrup

£40 per head

Ham hock terrine, curious piccalillii, mustard mayo, mustard crew salad

Slow braised beef shin, herby dumpling, cardamom glazed dumpling, buttered kale, rich red wine jus

Trio of desserts, caramel cheesecake, raspberry meringue kisses, Chantilly cream, chocolate brownie

What’s not included in the price?

Kitchen equipment:
this is hired in line with the chef’s needs according to your chosen menu

Waiting staff:
we can provide at an hourly rate, according to the number of guests and level of service required, which could range from a self-service buffet or barbecue to a dedicated member of staff for each table

Napkins and linens:
this can be sourced externally if a colour theme is being followed, or white linen can be hired from Ambassador Marquees, the Sprivers Mansion marquee provider.
